The Dynamic Threat Search (DTS) for Close Protection Officers course provides delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to rapidly assess an environment for potential threats before a principal enters.
Unlike traditional Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) or methodical venue searches, Dynamic Threat Search focuses on speed, prioritisation and informed decision-making. Delegates learn structured search techniques that can be completed within 10 to 30 minutes, relying on observation, situational awareness and simple search tools rather than specialist electronic equipment.
Through practical exercises and realistic scenarios, participants will learn how to identify high-risk concealment areas, recognise suspicious indicators and communicate risk effectively, enabling them to provide an appropriate level of assurance even when operational plans change at short notice.
